Let it snow in the new Holiday ad by Chanel

The star of Chanel Holiday campaign is Lily-Rose Depp, the new face of the brand. Let’s get into the winter fairy tale atmosphere, shall we!

Winters in Moscow usually look picturesque, everything is covered in snow and temperature is below freezing, but this year, Moscow has been experiencing unseasonably warm weather (snow fell only in January). So to keep snowy winter atmosphere, I suggest you watch this fabulous winter spot from Chanel.

It’s also ideal for those who live in the countries that have summer all year-round. ‘Let it snow Let it snow Let it snow‘ (hope you’ve heard of Michael Buble’s song). 😉

The spot opens with a Lily-Rose Depp sitting on a giant crystal parfume bottle cap gazing into a snowglobe like a fortune-teller repeating the words ‘I see, I see…’. Suddenly she exclaims ‘My lucky number!’, telling you that her favorite Number is 5 and Chanel No 5 fragrance appears close up in front of your eyes!

She looks very young, stylish and naturally charming in the spot. Youc an see her wearing a fuzzy white Chanel beret, a vintage black dress that matches perfectly with red chic knee-high boots and red fingerless gloves with a long ivory scarf and 1940s hairstyle to complete her glorious look. Très jolie!

This amazing spot was directed by Jean-Paul Goude, an iconic photographer who has been collaborating with the Maison for 30 years.

Hope you enjoy watching this fantastic spot as much as I enjoyed writing to you about it! 🙂

  1. Oh I love this! I’ve always been a fan of Chanel #5. The scent is lovely, and of course it is a total classic, and I love the commercial. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

  2. Finalmente torna il mio blog preferito che parla di pubblicità e marketing! Hai visto la pubblicità della Jeep e della neve che in Italia ha suscitato molte polemiche ma che invece io ADORO?
